13 Oktober - Six Go Through the World

Six Go Through the World is a shapeshifting collective, formed by the community around Atelier Touchstone in Utrecht. Bringing together a variety of artists such as musicians, writers and visual artists, Six Go Through the World is a joined effort to create original songs and stories. The term Six Go Through the World is a type of folk tale. In this type of story a motley group of heroes, equipped with different powers and abilities, undertake a quest in which various tasks have to be completed in order to reach the main goal.

10 November: JOAN & Blebiru

JOAN is a duo formed by Myrthe Boersma and Juliana Hahn. They harness their strengths to create original songs. Myrthe's deep raw bluesy sounds combined with the quirky fairy like antics coming from Juliana mix to form a unique duo. Envision harmonies, violin, guitar and a hint of Irish.

Blebiru music ranges from melancholic instrumental tunes to experimental sound collages and works where music meets poetry. After years of rare live performances, a live band was formed in 2021. The band consists of friends who share an aesthetic direction for music that soothes the listener while also asking questions. They take humour very seriously. 8 december: Poems Ago & Crowbars Poems Ago, a duo formed by Juliana Hahn and Remco Jacobs, compose and perform music to Irish Poetry. They select Irish poems that they hold deep in their hearts written by wonderful poets such as W.B. Yeats, James Joyce and Oscar Wilde as well as modern-day poets like Sinead Morrisey and Peter Fallon. They have a unique sound and style, blending harmonies and creating compositions that evolve from the meaning and imagery the chosen poem has inspired in them. A violin, a guitar and two voices will take you on a journey through Irish landscapes, emotions and images and encourage you to connect and find your own meaning in your experience while listening.
