TJ Querio – Places

We’ve all heard it: “Where are you from?”

My answer has rarely been: “Here.”

And even when it is, it’s an incomplete truth.

By the time I was 18, I’d lived at 13 addresses, in 4 countries, on 3 continents. Now that I’m 24, the count is up to 27 addresses, 5 countries, 3 continents. Along the way, I have met Death, fallen in love, learned to read and speak and write and play, and collected curious souvenirs and buckwild stories. Treasures are valued in the sharing, and wealth wants to flow, so I want to present some of the riches in my hoard with you!

Join me on May 30th for a storytelling evening where I re-create the atmospheres of the Places I’ve called home: Leelanau, Geneva, Lagos, Ponti, and Utrecht, using music, family stories, and original poetry. Laughing, crying, napping, and sharing are equally welcome in the lovely Place that is Touchstone.
